If you have five days for your vacations, where you will go in India. Everybody has thair own choice, you can make your own, but here I have ten best options for you. So read and plan, happy travelling. 

    1 Munnar

Munnar is dream destination for me. Evergreen climate around the year, lush tea gardens. You can find food for all type of taste here. Munnar has already selected as world top 10 best destinations. So must come Munnar. Nearest rail head in Alua (Cochin ) and airport is Cochin. You can find hotel in Munnar starting from 1200 INR per day.

2.     2 Madikeri – 
     Evergreen tourist destination of Karnataka. See here coffee garden. You can plan to spend time in homestay in a coffee garden. Monsoon is magical in Madikeri. See here great water falls, romantic forests.  Try local home made wine and filter coffee. From Bangluru it takes 6 hours to go Madikeri headquarter of Coorg (Kodagu).

  

3.     3 Mysore - 
     South India means Mysore. Only three hour journey from Bangluru. Here you can find best taste of south Indian food and sweets. Famous for palace, gardens, temples, everyone can live here for five or more days. You will go everyday for something new.

     4 Ooty- .
      Great hill station of south India. Popular shooting destination for bollywood movies. Can be reached from Coimbatore. Nice destination for improve your health. You can find here cheaper accommodation also. Must try here home made chocolates and Nilgiri Masala tea. Can be reached by Nilgiri mountain railway from Mattupalium.

5.    5. Kodaikanal - Its name in the Tamil language means The Gift of the Forest. Kodaikanal is a city near Palani in the hills of the Dindigul district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Enjoy evening at lake and go for forest tour. Great hill satation of Tamilnadu , can be reached from Dindigul. Nearest rail head Palni is 64 Km.

   6.     Majuli -  - MAJULI is a sweet name and sweet place to visit. Do you know every day so many foreign tourist use to visit Majuli. Majuli is a river island in Brahamputra river falls in Assam a north eastern Indian state.  In 2016 Guinness World Record has declared Majuli as the largest river island in the world. Can reached from Jorhat in Assam. Can live in bamboo hut - The best place to stay at Majuli is  La Maison De Ananda.

     7.     Shillong  - Shillong is the capital city of the State as well as the District headquarter of East Khasi Hills District of state Megahlya also known as Scotland of east.  It is connected with all weather road from Guwahati. You can go Cherrapunji and some other places from here.

    8.     Gangtok - Capital of Sikkim Gangtok can visited around the year. Climate is cozy always. Can go anywhere in Sikkim from here. More than 400 hotels are ready to welcome you. Must go Lachung vally. Sikkim is organic state now, good for health. Beauty of MG road is loving. Nearest rail head is NJP or Siliguri and airport is Bagdogra. 

      9.     Darjeeling -     Darjeeling is located in the Lesser Himalayas at an elevation of 6,700 feet, is a town and a municipality in the Indian state of West Bengal. Try to go by toy train from NJP. It will be life time memorable for you. Nearest rail head is NJP or Siliguri and airport is Bagdogra. 

     10.     Khajjiyar      -          Khajjiyar is a village in Himachal Pradesh near to Chamba. Certifed as mini Switzerland. Khajjyar vally looks like heaven on earth. Enjoy here horse riding, music from local folk singers, Punjabi Prathas and other food. Nearest rail head is Pathankot in Punjab and Airport is Amritsar or Chandigarh.
